Cable television is the only thing standing between me and a lack of TiVo worthy tv. Lets all hope that the strike talks are going as well as this and tv fans everywhere can rejoice and wake up their DVRs.

Showtime is airing an encore of The Tudors (7PM CST) Season 1 starting tonight. I missed its first run because I was not yet a Showtime subscriber. Now I can see for myself exactly how good this retelling of Henry VIII's story really is.

Breaking Bad (9PM CST) is an original series about a high school chem teacher that plans for his family's future, after his demise from a terminal illness, by cooking up a drug lab.
